Ian Crabtree Race .. Total Money Raised!

Ok Racers .. Deedee "Killer Klown" Merritt, our club Treasurer, gave me permission to post this.

Despite the differences in our feelings, beliefs, attitudes, whether we race gas or electric, whether we are pros or beginners or somewhere in between, we put it all aside, came together for a great cause, and once again did a wonderful thing!!

Thanks to the Racers who paid to race .. to those who couldn't be there who contributed anyway .. to those who donated raffle items .. to those who purchased raffle tickets .. to those who bought food .. to Jay for donating it {Yea!!} ..

Are you ready? Deedee reported that because of all you wonderful people who cared about a little 3yr old boy in a time of trouble, we raised enough money to send a check to the Ian Crabtree Benefit Fund for $1000.00!!!!!!

Now that is something to be proud of and to talk about!!!!

Coming through in a time of crisis makes us all look good and everyone should feel great about that!!

I hope I can speak for everyone just this one time to say it is our hope that some day we will have the privilege of seeing Ian walk up the stairs with a radio in his hand, pull the throttle trigger and kick up some dirt with whatever truck or buggy he choses to drive!!

When he is old enough and is ready, I for one will be ready to chip in to buy him his first real race truck or buggy!! I know others already who will join me!

I know one thing for sure .. the entire RC Community wishes him and his family well and that he pulls through this to lead an amazing an productive life. I look forward to welcoming him into the RC Family!!!

To simply say thank you to each and every one of you is certainly not enough! You all are amazing!

Thank You .. Thank You .. Thank You all!!!!!!

Wizard .. {for the RC Car Club of Spokane}

Club Meeting 2nd Monday In August

Our next club meeting will be on August 11th, Monday. We will have a club BBQ for everyone that attends the meeting...free of course. The meat and buns will be supplied by the club. Feel free to bring salads or chips. After the meeting we will have either a practice race or a mini race...depending on how many people show up and if we can have 2-3 RD's to volunteer so everyone can race. Does anyone have a BBQ they can bring for the meeting? Anyone who shows up for the meeting their race is free. If you just come to the race the fee is $5.00 per entry. Let us know if you are going to come so we can have enough food for all. It will be a night of fun and excitement! Hopefully we will see you there.

Hpi Baja 5b For Sale

I hate to sell it but the time has come. I have a used Baja 5B with just over a gallon on it. It runs perfect and has always started on the first or second pull. The Baja is in used but great shape overall. Everything works flawlessly. It does NOT include a radio or receiver. Also has extra header gaskets spur gear and other parts I can't even remember. Comes with a brand new bottle of diff fluid which I highly recommend you use. $750 plus shipping and paypal fees takes it!

Click on pic for slide show:

Now comes with a brand new set of Proline Moabs for rear tire replacements.
