Don't know how much your friend can spend .. but if you can't find a RTR Truggy .. Deedee and I have a brand new Losi 8T Version 1 Truggy roller for sale for $240. Just a possible option to think about.

Far as I know .. Losi still supports the Version 1 and it would cost just over $400 new at Hobby Shop. It is a really nice item.

Again .. just something to think about. Dont know what the motor etc would cost to get it running.

Just a roller .. Chassis .. gas body .. wheels tires etc .. no steering servo .. all steering linkage there of course ..

It is really nice ..

Again .. it would be a great entry level Truggy for the price.
