Just finished breaking in my new Revo. If you have not checked one out, go and do it. The truck blows me away with how it handles. I had driven a LST and misc T-maxxs, but none of them drive like a revo. I turns, jumps and stops better than any RTR I have ever seen. Roy, I hope to get a chance to get some of the great products you are building. Anyways I just felt like telling everyone how much fun I have had with this truck. yeah.gif Feel free to put set up tips or links on this thread.

I have to say, I didn't really think MT's were all that great. Especially to watch race. When I saw Roy and Craig run their Revos it blew my mind. They are awesome. The last couple club races Revos are running with 8th scales................. and looking very fast, winning, and making 8th scales look a little clumsy. I got a chance to drive Brad's and it is spectacular, right out of the the box. I want a REVO! smile.gif

That's awesome Brad!

They are very decent right out of the box. Another week and the parts will be ready.

USE TRAXXAS TOP FUEL or at least Byrons.

from what i have seen the revo is just as efficiant at whooping a$$ as truggies i think if anything there should be 2 mt classes expert and novis but that is my opinion not anyone elses and as for the truggies i watched roy at the mapston and he was doing really good against a guy who was running a kyosho kanai 3 with a truggy conversion. there is a good chance that i will get a new buggie in the spring and convert mu storm to an sut so i can get a little mt action myself. yeah.gif yeah.gif

Well if it is running well and is keeping cool then go for it.

I will assume that O'Donnell is not 100% synthetic?

I PM'd you about the starter boxes.

Did U get some Shock ends commin Brad ? I see they have the wrong part Number in the manuals for them.. 5649 is the corrct number for the good new ones.

when starter Boxes Roy ? !!! what else You have commin for revo's ? and when? I
have Cash in hand.

I ran Byrons, but switched to Traxxas fuel..dropped my temps a good 30 degrees at least. I also Only using traxxas plugs too..that seemed to help problems i had using Mccoys and OS plugs. I think the 2.5 Just wants alot of Oil and the 12% in the Byrons wasn't working good for me.

I did Brake a Lower front A Arm saturday..well i think JR did it on his test drive after the races..Didnt even notice it until i was doing a after race Clean up. So Thats 1st break besides them Dang Shock ends ( 5 and counting )

Aluminum shock rod ends will be done this week. Price will be $15.95 for 4 of them. They are made from 7075-T6 and will be anodized blue smile.gif

The Quickturns (patent pending) will be done sometime next week.

Starter boxes are about 6 weeks away. The delay is for the motor assemblies coming from OFNA overseas, but will be worth the wait. The production models will be made from aluminum. Havent decided if they will be raw aluminum or anodized blue or offer both.

Roy is it the same electric motor assembly as the black ofna 1/10 scale boxes use? I believe two 540 motors? I ordered a new serpent starters box and so I will have a spare box.
