OK club meeting will be 7:00 p.m. on monday. I'll be leading I guess. If you wish to volunteer for the kids race that would be a giant help for those kids entered.Especially since we club race that night.

Are we going to redo track before the 18th? Time is sure running out for this season Haven't taken a look at my chassis until the other night and boy the rocks are shaving down the bottom of my 1/8 scale

seems like the easiest thing to do would be get some free dirt off craigslist, sift it and put it on top of the surface we already have, sounds kind of cheesy but it doesnt look like we have time to do anything else, sure dont want to take away anybodys track time, the season is half over. Theres an add on there for free dirt, sounds like the guys got alot, and he will deliver with a 6 yard dump for free, Sounds like a smoking deal to me

Who is working the deal for the dirt and who is working on the weed killer and who is setting up a day to work on the track?? Need to motivate or this will carry on into another year again.

I am pretty sure the dirt that is for free is probably gonna be "fill dirt" which means its gonna have a large rock content which will definitely need to see the sifter! Maybe we will get lucky tho and get some nice stuff!

A rough sand section would be kind of fun don't you think Spanky?

I'm not sure who's working on what, But waiting for "Special" dirt could take forever, or be expensive. I cant see dirt being much worse than what we race on now, we still need to sift it An expansion is going to be expensive, so what we can get for free, or cheap. An electricion is going to kill the bank account, equipment rental not cheap. So lets cut corners were we can

I will talk to the City about weed control.

Any body can organize a track day or a couple people can go down and pull weeds and weed eat, pick up trash, etc. I think it would be easier for us to go down when we have time and pick up, rather than try to get everyone together all at once.

I would like to see Darren or Rick take the point on the track rework. We need to have a plan written up so I can take it to the City. It would be great if a good part of Monday night could be spent looking things over and finalizing a plan. We need a list of items we need so we can go looking for them with donations or purchase.

Matt & I will be there at 6 on Saturday morning (7/11) to do some weedeating, weed pulling and picking up trash. We will be there for 2-3 hours before it gets hot.
